If you're trying to build a network management application using TCL/Tk, this book is invaluable. Watch out for two things, however: The Scotty examples are using a pre-release 3.0 version of TNM, while most of us in the real world are using the non-commercial 2.1.9 version, so the examples don't work exactly as shown. Also, the website that the book directs you to doesn't have all of the code discussed in the book.
