Due to real programming examples, it is very praxis oriented, but also with several scientific aspect rising open questions. If you are an expert, it will also allow you to get a piratical impression of other platforms in a short time. So, in the nutshell, this books is worth each $$ use spent on it! The book can be hard to understand, not because of the writing, but because J2ME Polish is feature rich and there is lots to learn.
